I’m a Maryland native garden planner.

And I grew up with soil under my nails.

As a landscaper’s daughter, plant names were part of everyday conversation. I’ve spent a lifetime watching my dad shape outdoor spaces and learning from his practical wisdom.

Now, I blend that hands-on knowledge with my own passion for native plants and design to create landscapes that feel personal, welcoming, and enjoyable.

I started this business because I know that everyone’s time and energy is limited.

I can help you if you want to create beautiful, easy-to-maintain yards that welcome wildlife but you don’t know where to start. Or you simply want a design partner who can help you imagine bigger and brighter than you could on your own.

I’m so excited to be that partner.

Maryland is home, and I’ve spent years getting to know the plants, wildlife, and little quirks that make this region special.

When I started adding native plants around my own home, I was stunned to see how much impact little additions can make — as soon as I saw a pair of catbirds build a nest outside my front door, I was hooked. I even got a tattoo featuring purple coneflower and asters!

My goal

My ultimate goal is to bring more life into your yard, in a way feels like your own personal sanctuary. Maybe you want to refresh your foundation planting, bring in bright and pollinator-friendly plantings to your beds, do less maintenance, or a mix of all of the above.

The sweet spot is an outside space that feels effortless and full of life.

I’m happy to work with spaces as small as a balcony. Everything counts.

How it works

Here are the basic five steps of the process:

  1. Your first step is to reach out using this form and let me know about your dreams for your outdoor space. The more details, the better.

  2. I’ll be in touch within 48 hours to learn a bit more about your timeline, your overall goals, and to gather any pictures you can share of the space.

  3. We’ll schedule either a video meeting if you want to chat through your goals first, or an in-person site survey if you’re ready to get rolling.

  4. I provide you with the design for your space. My designs are hand-drawn, so you will have a physical plan to show the installer. We go over any desired tweaks.

  5. After I make tweaks, I mail you the final design package. It’s ready to implement on your own or with a landscape installer.

I’m happy to provide recommendations for local, trusted installers that you could work with to bring your dreams to life.

Additional training

Currently completing: Permaculture Design Certificate, Oregon State University

To keep growing as a designer, I’m currently completing a certificate in permaculture design. It helps me understand how to create landscapes that work with nature, not against it.

I’m constantly learning, experimenting, and fine-tuning what I do so I can serve clients better each season. When we work together, you’ll get thoughtful design, local plant knowledge, and someone who truly cares about helping you love stepping outside your door.

I’m so excited to see what we come up with.
